A significant portion of the Indian population suffers from preventable blindness due to lack of awareness and access to proper healthcare. The Ophthalmic Society Nagpur regularly organizes free eye screening camps across rural and urban centers.

Our member doctors volunteer their time and expertise to screen patients for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and refractive errors. Patients requiring surgical intervention are directed to affiliated charitable hospitals where treatments are provided at minimal or no cost.
