Government Medical College established, advancing medical education across Central India.
Indira Gandhi Medical College founded, strengthening healthcare education infrastructure.
Monthly ophthalmic clinical meetings initiated, promoting academic excellence locally.
Vidarbha Ophthalmic Society formed using AIOS conference surplus funds.
NAO launched regular CME programs and interdisciplinary academic sessions.
Dr. S. U. Joshi became the first President.
NAO officially renamed as Ophthalmological Society Nagpur (OSN).
OSN represents 300+ ophthalmologists promoting education and awareness.
