On the occasion of World Eye Donation Day, OSN, in collaboration with VOS and the Rotary Club of Nagpur Horizon, organized a series of awareness activities aimed at spreading the message of eye donation and highlighting its life-changing impact on individuals suffering from corneal blindness.
A key highlight of the program was an informative and interactive awareness talk by Dr. Shweta Mokadam, who addressed common misconceptions and doubts related to eye donation. She also shared innovative ideas and strategies to increase public awareness and encourage more individuals to pledge their eyes for donation.
To engage participants creatively, a poster competition was organized as part of the awareness campaign. The competition received enthusiastic participation from medical students and professionals. Dr. Samiksha Kannao (GMC Nagpur) and Dr. Sachin Waghmare (IGMC Nagpur) emerged as winners and were appreciated for their outstanding efforts in promoting eye donation awareness through their creative presentations.
